Isenwyrd Temple
Edicts & Prayers
Stone & Prayer
You have laid stones where there was only ice. You have built shrines where there was only silence. While the dawn of a new civilization rises, this is an old land.
The Turning of the Age will eventually test everything you’ve built. Let us gather here at the Temple. Not to celebrate your achievements, but to consecrate it.
A road is just dirt until the Sovereign recognizes it as a Path. I ask that everyone places one symbolic item in the Temple chest. You are not laborers, but Apostles.
Please also take one of the provided books, and write your name, your lineage, and a prayer – a statement of intent for what you hope to achieve in Isenwyrd. These books will be collected and transcribed into the Official Codex.
For your symbolic offering – we are asking for something of real value to you. We are not asking for diamonds. We ask that you make a sacrifice. Something that represents your History. An old tool from your first day, a random block from a point of interest you found, a flower from your homeland.
These relics will be stored in the foundation of this Temple. Optionally, you may provide a confession. Using an Anonymous, unsigned book.
What is written and offered up to the Temple today will be etched into the Codex.

Cost of Plunder
We brought the treasure through our gates, and the shadows followed. We did not invite them, but we did provide the reason for their stay. The Temple offers two paths to sanctuary.
One is the Path of the Cenotaph: To yield what is old to those who are older. To mark our ruins as their cloisters, so they may leave our hearths in peace.
The other is the Path of the Inquisitor: To draw a line in cold iron and white salt. To wage a war against the rot.
We must choose: Do we live alongside the ghosts, or do we fight to keep them out?
Take a book from the chest and make your prayer heard; The Cenotaph or The Inquisitor. Read both books titled ‘The Inquisitor’ & ‘The Cenotaph’ before making your decision.
Pilgrims, do not vote as men did in the fallen world. Instead, offer your prayers. Your prayers will be heard by the temple in 10 days.
Gods bless you all, and may the light always shine upon Isenwyrd.
