I am a Nixie, a creature born in deep waters. My home, Aravantis City, was once beautiful and vast, much like the ocean it resided in. That is, until our king joined forces with a much darker entity.

His corruption was deep, power growing stronger. He killed the god we worshiped, destroyed our city, and cursed those who died to rise once more as his own Drowned army. My only reason for survival is owed to a voice calling me to this land. I am not sure why I was chosen, but I am certain that I will make the most of this second chance. I am the first of my kind to leave the sea, a new lineage.

I will make Isenwyrd a home for any other survivors who seek refuge. Saltmourne Manor shall be a place for new beginnings. But I will never forget what brought me here. I will honor those whose lives were lost when mine was spared..
