Ghosts of travellers past,
I sympathise with thee, for I also know how it feels to endlessly wander the lands without a goal or a purpose to keep oneself tethered to one place for longer than a fleeting moment.
I know now that it was me in part, that rid you of your original purpose: guarding the loot that washed ashore Isenwyrd.
I apologise for my slight against you. Had I known what I know now, I would not have been so eager to take what was not mine and claim it as my own.
To make amends for my wrongdoings, and in return for the items I’ve taken, I offer a place to belong on this island.
There are two safe havens on Isenwyrd that I have established for those seeking refuge:
-The Nest, located to the south of Greystone in the Gentle Woodland;
-The Den & the Burrow, located north of Armadillo bridge in the Howling Bush;
Both of these places are secluded, rarely visited. A perfect safe haven for wandering lost souls
I only have one humble request to the spirits that decide to make those places their new home.
I ask that I am permitted I am allowed to visit from time to time to ensure that the safe havens I built don’t fall into complete ruin.
They remain unfinished for now, but I swear to do my due diligence and finish their construction and ensure that the surrounding wilderness remains untouched by the hands of those still living.
In adition, I vow to always brings offerings with me on my visits, small, simple things like food and drink for that is all I can truly offer to appease the unresting souls of those present among us and to further apologise for stripping them of their purpose.
I pray that one day, you will find the peace that you deserve and that the gods willl allow you to finally rest.
May the gods be merciful on your tortured souls
