Dagon Fel

the continent of dagon fel was filled with pvp skirmishes and looming threat of red mountain

We’ve all heard about the peaceful times of the shire, or the dark age where mortals took shelter from the cold in Ironhammer, and the many wars with the undead. But not much is said about the simple times of Dagon Fel. This time in history is almost completely forgotten, which is a terrible shame.

When the dark age began and all was lost, a fleeing vessel shipwrecked on the beach of Dagon Fel. The surviving mortals had no home to go back to, so they did the only thing they could do – begin again.

The first settlement was Necropolis. It settled itself right off the beach in full view of the shipwreck. Necropolis suffered from constant bandit raids during it’s few weeks of life, and eventually died off and became a zombie infested ruin.

Banditry was rampant on Dagon, particularly in the early days. Groups of roaming bandits would go out in search of easy prey. But sometimes they would meet their match.

It wasn’t long before the old faction ‘The Fleet’ made their mark on the continent. They continued their tradition of opening a tavern where mortals could gather for a pint and share Ancient World stories.

Growing in popularity, the tavern eventually became the heart of the community. Mortals would use the location to trade, meet others, and hold events. ((The Christmas party of 2012 was also held here))

But the conflicts were not over. Different groups of mortals had conflicting goals & beliefs, and this caused many skirmishes to erupt. Even the later days of Dagon Fel were full of raiding and bloodshed.

All in all, the days of Dagon Fel were both brutal yet charming. Looking back, it serves as a window into a much simpler time.

Eventually we would move on from Dagon and look into the horizon. The shipwreck on the beach was restored and the community celebrated as they set sail once again to discover the other continents. The story of the Age of Continents was just beginning.

Age of Darkness II

Many years later, Dagon Fel would come to the forefront of the story once more when its dormant volcano, Red Mountain, erupted. The eruption of the mountain set in motion a chain of events that would change The Ancient World forever.
